I’m a believer that love isn’t some intangible thing. It’s interwoven in every relationship and interaction - it’s a conscious choice of self acceptance, kindness, empathy & generosity of spirit. Love is also in this incredible city of New Orleans that I feel so inexplicably tied to. My family emigrated from Sicily to the Crescent City in the 1880’s and I truly believe New Orleans(and olive oil) runs through my veins. I grew up wandering the French Quarter streets on Sunday mornings after church - my dad playing tour guide every step of the way. That’s love. Doing the same for my clients feels like a rite of passage.
My photos are a love letter to both this city and my couples who grow to love her too.
