Bohemian and Natural Maternity Session in a Field of Wildflowers | New Orleans, Louisiana

There aren’t sufficient words to describe how deeply I love this family and the photos we took in this field of wildflowers one early summer morning. The grass was damp with dew, we treaded lightly through the flowers in our bare feet and performed almost a silent dance among the shocking yellow and orange.

Baby Bowie is born now and Cannon seems so much older - even though this session was only a few months ago. Motherhood tends to do that…time is so fleeting but the moments we experience within the void are incredibly present and grounded.

I took more of an inspired film approach with these images utilizing lots of grain and vintage tones of green and yellow. It’s different than my normal work but simultaneously feels representative of my voice as an artist.
