A Classic, Backyard Wedding on Martha's Vineyard Private Estate with Vintage Bronco | 35mm and Medium Format Film Wedding Photography

Backyard weddings are the sweetest. Martha’s Vineyard backyard weddings are somehow even sweeter.

I first met Chloe and Christopher years ago in my fledging years as a professional photographer. They were living in Louisiana at the time and Chloe reached out with a vision for a couple’s session involving a farm, haystacks and Chris’ vintage truck. Fast forward several years and we did it all over again for their wedding; this time featuring a family friend’s estate on Martha’s Vineyard and their recently restored Vintage Bronco.

It just so happened I brought some Louisiana with me to the East Coast and a hurricane was scheduled to hit that weekend. But in typical Louisiana fashion, we kept on with things as usual and the cloudy blustery day turned into the most incredibly clear and mild evening and a gorgeous sunset to boot.

With an easy going timeline and lots of down time, we cruised through the day(literally and figuratively). The beautiful open field ceremony led straight into a tented reception with a sushi bar, raw oyster bar and other local bites. The night led to a raucous party of dancing and maybe even a keg stand by the groom.

In terms of weddings I love to be a part of…this one was so special and a 100/10 WOULD DO AGAIN.
